I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! The end of the year was quite busy for me. In between my busy schedule: Holiday parties, Christmas, New Year's, a trip to WI, and 2 birthdays, I managed to get some sewing done. This week I continued to work on my Harmony and Light quilt and today I finished with a completed flimsy!
Let me backup a bit. In 2022, I saw the quilt, Harmony and Light by Christina Cameli @AFewScraps with a free tutorial and pattern sponsored by Quilting Daily. I fell in love with it so I signed up. On our vacation in 2022, we stopped in Hamilton, MO where I shopped at the Missouri Star Quilt Co for fabric for this quilt.
Absolutely love the block you've chosen for RSC! So pretty. Very clever of you to choose ombres for your Harmony and Light. It has lovely gradations! What a beautiful quilt. I hope you had a lovely New Year! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss. https://www.inquiringquilter.com/questions/2024/01/03/wednesday-wait-loss-361
ReplyDeleteYour RSC blocks in green is beautiful. Love the Harmony and Light in solids. Ombre fabrics sounds like a great way to get enough variety in tints.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful flimsy!!! Fun photo of your DH carrying the bolts!!! Circle of Friends is a great choice for RSC!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect use for the ombre fabrics; your version glows!
