Yipee! I have a finish!

It feels so good to have my last UFO from 2018 ~ D.O.N.E!
After sandwiching my Temperature quilt earlier this week, I  set out to get it done!
I did a simple straight line quilting, both horizontal and vertical through the center of each block since it is already a busy quilt with its year of different colored blocks!
The backing is a print I inherited from my mom's stash. I thought the colors worked well with colors in the front.
The quilt finished at 55" x 64"
I'm linking up to Can I get a Whoop Whoop at Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Finished or Not Fridays at Busy Hands Quilts, Friday Foto Fun at Powered by Quilting, Let's Be Social at Sew Fresh Quilts, and Needle and Thread Thursday at My Quilt Infatuation.

  1. Hooray Dawn! WOW...that was quite an undertaking tracking the temperatures every single day for a year. 365 blocks! Well done. How fun to see all the temps for that year. I would have been lucky to document all that on paper. I’d never had made it through a year documenting daily temps with fabric. Impressive!

  2. I finished mine this year too, only I was finishing one I gathered info in 2016. Kinda wish I'd done highs and lows too. but doubt I'll do another.

  3. Hi Dawn, congrats of the finish. It looks great. If you get a chance, why not link up to Free motion mavericks? We'd love to have you join the fun!

  4. Such a pretty quilt. The backing is perfect as well. I am working on a temperature quilt this year.
